The Security Division of Oliver Fire Protection & Security is hiring! Please review the two positions below:

Integrated Security Sales Representative

The Alarm & Security Division of Oliver Fire Protection & Security is seeking highly motivated sales professionals to sell integrated security and other system solutions. Must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to persuade and close sales.
Successful candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with successful outside sales experience in the Business to Business marketplace.

Security Project Manager

This position is accountable for managing projects in such a way as to meet the needs of the customer and maximize profits.  These responsibilities are achieved by anticipating the needs of the projects, appropriate and timely written and verbal communication with all involved parties, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The object is to manage projects in a way that meets or beats the estimated budget, maximizes profits, insures compliance with any contract documents, and insures complete customer satisfaction.  Change order opportunities are to be pursued aggressively to increase the profitability of the projects. Safety of OFPS personnel and quality of installation are of utmost importance.

This position requires technical aptitude in the security  product and application field.  In particular,  Access Control, IP based, hosted services and integrated  systems.  Extensive  knowledge  and  experience  in  CCTV  is required.  The position must be able to coordinate with owner’s IT dept to ensure project completion.  Network experience is required to interface IP based Access and video systems.

The project Manager is the person who has personal contact with the general contractor, owner and developer and is the person whom they look to for contract satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM GENERAL EDUCATION

  • College Degree 2 – 4 years Preferred

MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE

  • Fire Protection Industry 10 years
  • Construction knowledge 10 years

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficient in installation methods, materials, fire and building codes and design standards
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residency and acceptable to the Company
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive Knowledge of Security Industry
  • Extensive Knowledge of IT infrastructure
